CHECK 01
Reconcile the recommendation with source facts
- 1. Save the current title and the recommended title with a timestamp.
- 2. Compare brand, product type, size, count, material and compatibility one by one.
- 3. Remove any fact that cannot be traced to the catalog or approved product record.
- 4. Count the final title, including spaces and punctuation.
- 5. Confirm category-specific requirements before accepting or replacing text.
CHECK 02
Use the stated review window deliberately
The June 10 announcement says brand owners have 14 days to review recommended title changes. Record the actual notice date shown in your account; do not infer a deadline from this page alone. If your interface shows a different workflow, rely on the current account notice and preserve a screenshot or export.
CHECK 03
Four failure modes to look for
Fact loss
A model removes a size, count or model detail needed to distinguish the item.
Fact invention
The draft adds performance, compatibility or material language that the source record does not support.
Wrong priority
Promotional wording survives while a buyer-critical identity fact is cut.
Field duplication
The same phrase fills both the title and Item Highlights without adding clarity.
LIMIT
Evidence boundary
This workflow is based on Amazon’s public announcement. Listing Audit cannot see whether your account received a recommendation, whether a catalog edit was executed, or whether a listing was suppressed or penalized. It only helps compare visible draft text with public rules and source facts you control.
